Bald Predictions is a weekly American football pick'em game. You pick the winner of every game, choose one Lock worth two bonus points, and see how you did against five fictional rivals - The Baldfather, Lady Baldwin, The Baldgorithm, Baldylocks and Baldemort.
Here's what most people need to know. If yours isn't here, email us. We read every email and reply as soon as we can.
support@baldpredictions.comEach week you pick the winner of every game on the slate. You can change a pick any time before that particular game kicks off.
One pick per week can be designated your Lock. If it is correct, it earns two bonus points on top of the point for the pick itself - so a correct Lock is worth three points in total. If it is wrong you lose nothing; the Lock only ever adds.
One point for every correct pick, plus two more if your Lock hits. So eleven correct picks with a successful Lock scores thirteen.
That game has already kicked off. Picks lock game by game, at each game's own start time, not all at once - so the rest of your week stays editable.
You're between weeks. The next week's slate is published on Tuesdays, so there is a gap after the last game of one week finishes and before the next week opens.
Week 18 is the final week of the regular season. When there is nothing to pick, the home screen says so.
Individual scores update as games finish. Your weekly Wrap and the leaderboard both fill in once all of that week's games are done - standings don't move game by game while a week is still being played.
Game results come from a third-party sports data feed, which can occasionally be late or incorrect. When that happens we correct scores, standings and leaderboards afterwards, so a figure you saw earlier may change. If something still looks wrong once the week is settled, email us with the week number and the teams involved.
Five fictional characters. Each one picks every game its own way, and the exact workings stay theirs - the Meet the Bald Competition screen in the app gives you the gist of how each of them thinks. They are not real people, not tipsters, and their picks are not advice.
